Citroen C3 Aircross

Model launch date:

The Citroen mid-sized SUV is expected to go on sale later this year, possibly in October.

Feature list:

Exterior:

On the outside, the SUV will have a similar Citroen-face as seen with the C5 Aircross and the budget-offering, the C3. Right at the front, it will likely feature a split headlamp with DRLs and a sleeker grille. The Citroen mid-size SUV will be more than four metres in length and as per some reports, it could feature a third row too.

Interior:

Inside the cabin, the SUV will come with a new dashboard layout.  Citroen is also expected to carry over some features and the interior layout from the C3. Other than that, the SUV will feature a large touchscreen infotainment unit with all the bells and whistles.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

Under the bonnet, the Citroen mid-size SUV will likely come equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The transmission option could include a six-speed manual.

Variants:

The French automaker will likely keep the naming scheme for the variants of its mid-size SUV similar to the Citroen C3.

Safety:

The Citroen mid-size SUV has not yet been tested for safety ratings.

Competition:

Upon arrival, the mid-size SUV from Citroen will go up against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, and others.
