About Renault Kiger

Renault launched the BS6 2.0-compliant Kiger in India on 2 February 2023.

Feature list:

Exterior:

The exterior design of the new Kiger largely remains the same as the previous model, apart from a new front skid plate, turbo lettering, and a chrome strip on the boot lid. In addition, it comes with two new dual-tone exterior colour options – Metal Mustard and Mystery Black.

Interior:

The carmaker has made subtle changes to the interior of the new Kiger. It features a new Harmony interior tone, re-styled seat upholstery with red stitching, and red inserts on the dashboard. The SUV gets a PM 2.5 air filter as standard across the variants. The Kiger can accommodate five passengers.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

It is powered by two distinctive engines: a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol motor generating 99bhp and 160Nm and a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 71bhp and 96Nm. The former comes mated to a manual or CVT automatic gearbox, while the latter can be coupled with a manual or AMT automatic unit.

Now, with the implementation of BS6 2.0, all Renault cars will come equipped with a self-diagnostic device. The device will constantly monitor the vehicle’s emission levels while driving, along with other critical emission devices such as the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors.

Variants:

The Renault Kiger is available in five variant options – RXE, RXL, RXT, RXT(O), and RXZ.

Safety:

It gets safety features like Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HAS), Traction Control System (TCS), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Really disappointed...CVT engine doesn't works after 7000km...mileage also 12-13kmpl in Kerala...we got stuck in the middle becos of gear box issues .i was using maruti celerio .now plaaning to bou new celerio..

I'm buying from Solapur City Showroom,But Showroom don't have RXE model so they pressure on me to Buy a Kwid but I'm not buying Kwid because I want only Kiger RXE...My friend have Kiger RXE and driven that and I like so much Looks , comfort, features and milage,Also car have Low maintenance cost but my friend told me Solapur Showroom service was very bad. Need to Always available Rxe model at showroom for customers and Solapur Showroom service quality Increament
